New Sailing competition marks MK's 50th Birthday

Milton Keynes (MK) businessman Paul North, MD of Illuminis Insight Software and a keen sailor, has organised the first RS Vareo, Grand Prix sailing competition, on Caldecotte Lake, June 10th and 11th, 2017. This event adds an exciting sporting diversity to the 50th anniversary celebrations of the town, showcasing Milton Keynes Sailing Club (MKSC) and the beautiful lakes and parks that create a major leisure attraction for the region.

Illuminis is the main sponsor of the event and after five years of competitive RS Vareo sailing, Paul wanted to bring a Grand Prix to his home town is association with MKSC. The MK50 celebration year is an excellent year to launch an internationally recognised competition and create a legacy for sailing in MK.
